Unge Funksjonell

Unge Funksjonell is ready for Bukta! In the fall of 2023, he debuted with the album "DOGMA," featuring an impressive collaboration with both Northern Norwegian legends and up-and-coming rappers and artists such as RSP, JODDSKI, Emma Elliane, Nordlys, Bror Olsen, and more. Buktafestivalen hosted the release concert at Hålogaland Theatre, and we were very excited about both the album and his unique genre-crossing hip-hop/rock in Northern Norwegian. Inspired by his upbringing in the hip-hop community and musically influenced by his father, the vocalist of the legendary new wave band Vinterhagen, Unge Funksjonell operates in a boundless musical universe.

At Bukta, it will be the first time Unge Funksjonell performs with a full band, and we look forward to experiencing one of Tromsø's – and perhaps one of the country's – most promising artists!
