One of last year's biggest hardcore breakthroughs, L.A-based Drug Church, is coming to Norway for the first time to play at Bukta. They have already established themselves as one of last year's biggest breakthroughs in the hardcore scene, with sold-out shows and wild moshpits in the US.
The band made its debut in 2012, and since then they have released several albums and EPs that have received great recognition in both the punk and hardcore circles. Their latest release Hygiene landed on several charts from 2022 and has received rave reviews from major music magazines such as Kerrang!, Brooklyn Vegan and Pitchfork.
Drug Church is breaking through in the new hardcore wave coming out of the US at the moment, and can be compared to bands such as Turnstile and Metz. The band has an audience like no other and their energetic live performances feel like a big party where everyone is invited. This is a band that stands out in the hardcore environment, and there's nothing to be happy about, because it's going to be wild at Bukta this summer. See you in the moshpit!
